Devika Penekelapati is the Chief Financial Officer of Northern Heights Management Inc. She is also a Founding Partner of Borders Law Firm, a Canadian and U.S. immigration law firm.

In her role as CFO, Devika is responsible for the business consulting and advisory line of business. She advises high-net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and foreign corporations on Canadian investment opportunities. She also acts as a matchmaker, assisting individuals and corporations to expand their networks and business footprints. She has extensive contacts in the Canada-India corridor, having attended Canadian trade-missions to India.

In her role as a Founding Partner of Borders Law Firm, Devika represents clients on all matter of corporate and personal immigration matters. She is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Citizenship & Immigration Law.

Devika has extensive experience assisting corporations to bring skilled workers to Canada, employing a number of work permit strategies such as Labour Market Impact Assessments, NAFTA permits and Intra-Company applications. She assists each individual by crafting a comprehensive immigration plan, starting with an initial temporary visa and ending with Canadian citizenship if so desired. She advises on all federal and provincial immigration programs, creating strategies that are uniquely suited to each person’s circumstances.

Devika’s diverse cultural background and fluency in multiple South Asian languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Punjabi) has made her a sought after adviser within Toronto’s diverse multicultural society. She has obtained law degrees from both McGill University and the University of Ottawa. Devika is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association’s Citizenship and Immigration Law Section, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce.
